Coming Soon
We’ll opening up bookings in late April.
You have a document. It needs a notary. I'm a commissioned California notary public, and I come to you.
I serve Oakland and all of Alameda County — homes, offices, coffee shops, hospitals, wherever the signing needs to happen. I bring the seal, the journal, and a working pen. You bring a valid government-issued ID and the document. We'll be done before your coffee gets cold.
This is the straightforward appointment. Business casual, no crystals, minimal small talk. If you want something more ceremonial, I offer that too — but this isn't it, and that's completely fine. Most documents just need to get done.
What's included:
Mobile notary service anywhere in Alameda County
Your first notarized signature.
Acknowledgments, jurats, oaths, affirmations, and copy certifications
Estate planning and trust documents, powers of attorney, and advance health care directives
Affidavits and sworn statements

To book: Bring a valid, government-issued photo ID. All signers must be present. Documents should be complete before the appointment — I cannot notarize a blank or incomplete form.

Pricing: $85 per appointment (includes travel within service area and first notarial act) · $15 each additional signature
Some documents and agreements deserve more than a folding table and a ballpoint pen.
This ritual is a fully witnessed, legally valid notarization conducted with intention and ceremony. Your documents are signed on a velvet cloth, surrounded by crystals and candlelight, by a commissioned California notary public in full ritual attire.
Every acknowledgment and jurat is performed in accordance with California law. The magic is in the atmosphere — the legality is never in question.
What's included: Mobile service throughout Oakland, Berkeley, and Alameda County, ritual setup including velvet cloth, crystals, and candles, notarization of acknowledgments and jurats, and a fully executed, legally binding document.
Ideal for: Powers of attorney, healthcare directives, affidavits, and any document that marks a significant moment in your life.
Pricing: $135 per appointment · $15 each additional signature
Meet Your Notary Witch.
The Origin & Official Legend of Ritual Notary (Notarized by No One in Particular)
It began on an unremarkable Tuesday in Oakland. A witch, a cold cup of coffee, and a stack of government paperwork achieved a kind of cosmic alignment. The witch, Melody, had been practicing quietly for years. No coven, no curriculum, no drama. Just a Norwegian Forest Cat named Raven, a well-stocked herb cabinet, and a belief that most things benefit from a little intention and a good steep time.
One evening, while procrastinating, she picked up a pamphlet about becoming a California Notary Public. She read it cover to cover. Raven walked across it twice. Something stirred. Not a vision. Not a calling. More like a quiet recognition that the ancient art of witnessing — showing up, looking someone in the eye, saying yes, this is real, this happened, I was here — wasn't so different from what she'd always done. Ritual is just paperwork for the soul.
She took the course. She passed the exam. She was commissioned by the California Secretary of State, which is the least magical sentence here and somehow the most important.
Raven has since passed beyond the veil. She continues to consult from wherever she currently is. Every document sealed is witnessed by the living and, we have reason to believe, occasionally by the dead.
All notarizations are fully legal in California. Raven's contributions, while invaluable, are not yet recognized by the Secretary of State. We're working on it.
